Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

Last updated: May 2026

We hold an appointment time exclusively for you. Late changes and missed appointments mean another patient who needed care misses out. To keep things fair for everyone, we ask all patients to follow this policy.

Notice we ask for

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment. There is no fee when you give us this notice.

How to let us know

  • Call the practice during business hours
  • Reschedule online via our booking page
  • If you reach us outside business hours, please leave a voicemail — the time of your message counts as your notice

Late cancellations and no-shows

We currently do not charge a fee for late cancellations or missed appointments. However, repeated short-notice cancellations or non-attendance may mean we ask for a deposit before booking future appointments, or that we are unable to offer you further appointments.

Running late

If you are running late, please call us as soon as you can. We will do our best to see you, but if your appointment cannot be completed safely in the remaining time we may need to reschedule.

If we need to change your appointment

Occasionally we may need to reschedule due to illness, emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. We will contact you as early as possible and offer the next suitable time.

Children and dependants

For appointments booked for children or dependants, the parent, guardian or responsible adult who made the booking is responsible for providing notice.

Thank you for helping us keep care available for everyone in our community.
